ICCB Turns into a Weekly Gathering Place for Car Enthusiasts Every Friday

The 'Super Sale Car Bazar' at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital is gaining popularity among car buyers and sellers by offering an opportunity to explore new, used and reconditioned vehicles of different brands at one venue, while also allowing individuals to sell their personally owned cars.

Held every Friday, the automobile marketplace is witnessing a growing turnout of visitors and potential buyers. Alongside cars, different models of motorcycles are also available at the event.

During a visit to ICCB's Expo Village yesterday, families were seen exploring vehicles of their choice. While some visitors made immediate purchasing decisions, others compared different brands, models and prices before collecting sellers' contact information for future consideration.

Launched on September 4, the 'Super Sale Car Bazar' has already completed eight weeks of activity, bringing buyers and sellers together. Yesterday marked its ninth edition at ICCB.

According to the organisers, one of the key features of the marketplace is the opportunity to both purchase vehicles and sell privately owned used cars at the same location. This allows prospective buyers to compare multiple options conveniently, while individual sellers can directly showcase their vehicles to potential customers.

A wide range of brands and models are on display, with Toyota, Mitsubishi and Nissan vehicles among the most prominent. The collection ranges from older models dating back to 2000 to brand-new vehicles from 2026. Different models of motorcycles are also available for sale.

To make vehicle purchases more convenient, bank financing and auto loan facilities have also been arranged. Visitors can therefore explore financing options and obtain relevant information and assistance at the same venue.

Speaking about customer interest, ICCB Brand and Marketing Manager Mehedi Hasan told Bangladesh Pratidin that hundreds of people gather at the 'Super Sale Car Bazar' every Friday. He said the marketplace offers vehicles from different years and categories, ranging from 2000 models to brand-new 2026 vehicles. Sellers are also satisfied with the initiative, and he expressed optimism about its future success.

Organised by Wizard Showbiz with venue support from ICCB, the 'Super Sale Car Bazar' remains open every Friday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.

With opportunities to explore, compare and purchase vehicles from different brands, as well as sell personally owned used cars under one roof, the weekly marketplace is gradually becoming an attractive destination for car enthusiasts and automobile buyers and sellers in Dhaka.
