The International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital has turned into a meeting point for car buyers and sellers, with the ‘Super Sale Car Market’ attracting visitors for its eighth consecutive week of events.

The weekly market is jointly organised by Wizard Showbiz and ICCB and remains open every Friday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. This week's event featured new, reconditioned and used cars, along with trucks and motorcycles. Special discounts and promotional gifts added to the attraction for prospective buyers.

Rows of vehicles greeted visitors as they entered the venue. New and reconditioned cars were displayed in one section, while privately owned used vehicles were showcased in another. Many owners also brought their cars to sell, hoping to upgrade to newer models. The arrangement allows buyers to explore different types of vehicles in one place and choose according to their preferences and budgets.

Several sellers announced promotional offers alongside vehicle price deals. Some offered free iPhones and electric bikes with car purchases, generating additional interest among visitors.

According to the organisers, this week's market featured new vehicles from international brands including Mitsubishi, Changan Deepal and Hyundai. Trucks and motorcycles from two Chinese brands were also on display. A special offer included a free scooter with the purchase of any truck. Vehicle prices at the market ranged from Tk 800,000 to Tk 18.6 million.

To help buyers make informed decisions, a multibrand workshop has been set up at the venue. Buyers can have important components, including the engine, chassis and wheelbase, inspected before purchasing a vehicle. A special ramp display has also been arranged to help sellers present their vehicles more attractively.

Mehedi Hasan, brand and marketing manager of ICCB, said the event continued to receive a strong response from buyers and sellers in its eighth week. He added that visitors could find cars, trucks and motorcycles under one roof, while also having the opportunity to assess a vehicle's overall condition at the multibrand workshop before making a purchase.
