125th Draw of Tk 100 Prize Bonds Held, First Prize Worth Tk 600,000

The 125th draw of Tk 100-denomination prize bonds has been held, with bond number 0923283 winning the first prize of Tk 600,000. The second prize of Tk 325,000 went to number 0842511.

The draw was held on Sunday (November 1) at the conference room of the Dhaka Divisional Commissioner's Office. Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Md. Moniruzzaman Mia presided over the event.

Under the prescribed rules, the draw is conducted through a single common system, with the same winning number applicable across each series. In this draw, a total of 3,956 prize bonds were selected for awards against 46 winning numbers across 86 series.

The third prize of Tk 100,000 each went to numbers 0873611 and 0891956. The fourth prize of Tk 50,000 each was awarded to numbers 0458658 and 0924695.

Forty numbers won the fifth prize of Tk 10,000 each. The winning numbers are:

Prize bonds from every series bearing the announced winning numbers will be eligible for the respective awards. Only bonds sold at least 60 days before the scheduled draw date were eligible. The sale date was taken into account, while the draw date itself was excluded from the calculation.

Under Section 118 of the Income Tax Act, 2023, a 25 per cent tax will be deducted at source from the prize money when winners claim their awards.
