Bangladesh Condemns Houthi Drone Attack in Madinah

The Bangladesh government has strongly condemned a reported Houthi drone attack on the Taibah power plant in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

The condemnation was issued by Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press statement on Sunday (October 4).

According to the statement, deliberately targeting critical civilian infrastructure that supplies electricity to the Prophet’s Mosque represents an unacceptable attack on the sanctity of one of Islam’s holiest sites.

Bangladesh also expressed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in its efforts to protect the country’s security and sovereignty.

The government further said Bangladesh firmly rejects any aggressive actions that could undermine regional peace and stability, stressing the importance of protecting regional security from further escalation.
