Janajuddha Leader Nasimul Gani Shot Dead in Khulna

Mohammad Nasimul Gani, a leader of the Purba Banglar Communist Party (Janajuddha), was killed in a shooting in Dighalia upazila of Khulna.

Khulna Additional Superintendent of Police Abir Siddiqui Shuvro said preliminary investigations found that eight cases, including one related to assaulting police, had been filed against Nasimul Gani.

According to the police officer, an initial review also found information indicating Nasimul Gani’s alleged association with the Purba Banglar Communist Party (Janajuddha).

Police visited the scene after the shooting and began collecting information related to the incident. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the killing.

An operation has been launched to identify and arrest those allegedly involved in the attack. Police are also examining the possible motive behind the shooting.
