Barcelona produced a historic performance in the women’s El Clasico, defeating Real Madrid 7-0 at Spotify Camp Nou on Sunday (October 4). Claudia Pina was the star of the night, scoring four goals as Barcelona recorded their biggest victory over Real Madrid in the women’s Clasico.
Barcelona needed only four minutes to open the scoring, with Pina finding the net after creating space inside the area. She struck again in the 28th and 32nd minutes to complete her hat-trick.
Caroline Graham Hansen added Barcelona’s fourth goal in the 33rd minute before Pina scored again just before halftime. Her fourth goal made it 5-0 at the break and saw her become the first Barcelona player to score four goals in a Clasico against Real Madrid.
Barcelona continued to dominate after the interval. Ewa Pajor scored the sixth goal in the 55th minute, while Sydney Schertenleib completed the rout with a powerful long-range effort in the 88th minute.
The match attracted 40,533 spectators at Spotify Camp Nou, setting a new attendance record in the history of Spain’s Liga F.
The victory kept Barcelona at the top of the league with 18 points from six matches, while Real Madrid remain on 13 points.
